Biography

I have been a Christ follower for 34 years.  I have the great privilege to serve as the Lead Pastor of Faith Tabernacle Church in West Los Angeles, California.  FTC has a long heritage in West LA, existing for 87 years and is associated with the Assemblies of God Fellowship of churches.  The church has grown and adapted with the changing demographic of Los Angeles.  Today 32 nationalities worship together and this diversity is reflected throughout its leadership.

Prior to becoming the Lead Pastor in 2005, I served as a missionary/campus pastor for six years with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries ministering to university students at UC Santa Barbara and UCLA.  Before campus ministry I served as a pastor of churches in Texas and Missouri.  I have earned a BA in Theology from Ozark Bible Institue and College, Neosho, MO. and a MA in Religion (empahsis in church leadership) from Vanguard University, Costa Mesa, CA.

Most importantly, I have been married to my lovely wife, Linda, for 18 years.  Together, we have three beautiful daughters.  In my ‘spare time’ I enjoy reading, traveling (37 states and 9 countries so far), playing golf, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my family.
